Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria. It is the 47th largest city by population in Europe, consisting of over 1.3 million people. It is situated in the west part of Bulgaria just before Mount Vitosha.
Here is a collection of landmarks within the city including The University of Sofia, The National Theatre and the historic Parliament building. We can see through vast development, Sofia has evolved into a modern city.
